I was born in the Netherlands where my dad was stationed in the Army.  I have lived in Arizona, Italy, Georgia, Texas and Michigan.  I spent the majority of my life growing up in suburbs of Detroit.  I just moved to Las Vegas about oh...almost three months...and rain and clouds aren’t all that bad!  At least it only rains here once every two months or so and then goes away! :) 

I went to Michigan State University where I received my Bachelors in Arts with a major in Spanish.  I then went on to Wayne State University where I received my teaching certificate. 

I have taught both middle and high school level Spanish.  As well as teaching I have also had the opportunity to do some coaching in tennis, volleyball and softball. 

I enjoy playing sports, reading, karaoke, mountain biking, hiking, and camping. 

I was also just recently married.  My husband Steve and I will be celebrating our one year anniversary on October 29th.
