This is the class that has the daily task and privilege of being on the air live every day for the morning announcements.  The students spend the period preparing for the broadcast.

When they are not on the air, the students are producing features for the broadcast.  The students have a deadline every two weeks and are encouraged to prepare features that will be considered to be entered in the yearly Broadcast Awards competition.  The class will also take field trips to television and radio stations throughout the year.  Guest speakers from all aspects of media will also make appearances.

Because of the trust involved in doing a live broadcast with students, only the most outstanding and trustworthy students will be considered for the class.

Broadcast III students are the ones who plan to major in communications in college and who plan to work in the media for a living.  They act as producers for the broadcast.  They also work on special projects for the school and take on assignments as assigned by the instructor.
