Welcome to Coronado Cougars football website. Where you can get all the up dated information regarding the up coming spring and summer football activities. And also get an updated schedule of the 2007 football season. Varsity Football Will Be Attending Camp At Southern Utah University The Varsity Football Team will be attending the football camp this summer in Cedar City, UT., at Southern Utah University. The camp begins on July 8th and ends on July 12th. For more information, please contact Coach Moore. Deadline for Varsity Football Camp Payment is June 1, 2007. We have to our Registration Forms and Money in by this Date. No exceptions after this date.

Attention all incoming 9th grade football players. There will be a football camp for 8th grade students interested in playing football for Coronado High School. The camp will be May 21st-25th from 3pm to 5pm. Cost for the camp will be $80. Players will receive a Team Logo spirit pack. They will also receive instruction on the fundamentals of High School Football. As well as, get to know their future teammates and coaches.
(This camp is for students who will be attending Coronado High School next year. Del Webb and Miller Middle School students).

All returning football players and interested football players must have a 2.0 gpa in the 2nd semester, (that’s 3rd and 4th quarter grades combined), in order to tryout for a fall sport. During the season they must maintain a passing grade in all of their classes or they will be ineligible to play until that grade is passing again.
Grade Checks are every three weeks of each quarter of the school year.
Incoming freshmen are not required to have a 2.0 gpa to start the season. But will be checked at the first three week Grade Check date.
Also an Athletic Packet from Coronado must be filled out and turned in to the Athletic Office prior to the first day of tryouts. This packet is good for only one school year. Meaning, each year the athlete must fill out a new Athletic Packet in order to participate. |
