The primary purpose of the Freshmen Cheerleaders is to promote spirit for freshman sports. The group also performs at school assemblies. Tryouts are held each spring. Candidates must have a 2.0 G.P.A. for the nine-week period preceding tryouts. Citizenship marks must be satisfactory in order to qualify. They also compete at a regional and national level.
