Computer Science I |

This one-year course is designed to introduce the students to the elements and structures of computer science. The areas of major emphasis in this course are programming methodology, algorithms, developing computer applications and the societal implications of using a computer. A programming language will be used in a project-based environment for implementing computer-based solutions to various problems. Prerequisites will include completion of Algebra I. This course will fulfill the one-half credit and one-half of an elective credit or one of the elective credits required for high school graduation. |
